For her seventh album, Taylor Swift is calm and relaxed. Flash on Lover.
Last time, Taylor Swift needed to get her anger out and to bite whoever made her wrong. Today, the snake has become a butterfly and she has found some kindness towards all forms of love. Through minimalist songs (The Archer, Cornelia Street, False God, It’s Nice To Have A Friend) and ultrapop songs (The Man, I Think He Knows, Paper Rings) we find Swift open-hearted (Lover, London Boy), but also assuming her opinions more than before, with the flamboyant You Need To Calm Down, and full of humour with the less serious than romantic ME! featuring Brendon Urie. Yes, this album is simple, but the more we listen to it, the more we like it.
