TATOO TOOTA – MARJOLAINE KARLIN

If her album has been released in March, Marjolaine Karlin offers us, with Tatoo Toota, a great soundtrack for a warm summer day, as the closure of summer.

We slide and relax, curious as we listen to every note floating in the air before lightly landing on the shadow-providing tree above us. That’s the feeling of the album. Tatoo is bubbly, Jewish Cemetery is darker, strange and quite mysterious, Madame la Chanson is tangy and Jaipour bright and air like. In short, there’s everything in there to have a good time when we’re too hot (and this summer is way too hot). It is a welcomed album, unexpected, and, even if we start listening to it in the background, it keeps us awake.
