Oh, what an efficient introduction! Salt Water is the most vibrant song of this comeback album. And for a comeback, it’s a bloody good one! Bedouin Soundclash hasn’t released anything since 2010. Thankfully, almost a decade later they get back to their instruments and offer an eclectic, powerful, openminded album to the world, full of joyful and charming rhythms. Hard to resist. The brass resonates rightfully on They Gutted This City. Their immense savoir-faire is noticeable on Better Days and on the dancing Edges of Night, that should keep us awake a long time. We’re definitely charmed.
