So we can end October beautifully, we’re listening closely to two nice albums just released today, and an EP due for November. Flashes.
TRÉSORS CACHÉS & PERLES RARES – CHARLÉLIE COUTURE
Hard not to listen to Trésors Cachés & Perles Rares, CharlÉlie Couture’s new album. Years passing haven’t blunted the fine and sharp point of his pen. Accompanied by rounded and warm blues guitar, it traces in the talented lyricist’s voice some harsh and soft words for his fascinating stories. If we really fell in love with his track Nés Trop Loin #2, the other songs also get us to our core. A beautiful album, a must-have for fans and newcomers, available now.

THE HUMAN DEMANDS – AMY MACDONALD
The great Amy Macdonald is back this Friday. We couldn’t have waited longer to talk and listen to The Human Demands. Her fascinating voice within this folk-rock atmosphere is perfect for the stories Amy Macdonald needs to tell us, of love, depression, getting really personal. Going back to her roots, she marks the record with Statues, optimist and fiery. This fifth album might be the most perfected one in thirteen years of career. Impossible to let it slip this fall as it will speak to everyone.

SEPARATED – BINGO CLUB
This quiet EP by Bingo Club is like a walk along the water, the sun melting into the horizon, in any season. With four tracks, Separated hypnotises us and experiments, like with the strange and moonly Call Center. The tracks are like pebbles that we’re keeping a whole winter as they’re still full of the softness of sand in summer. And if sometimes they feel cold, we’re surprised when we see, between our lashes, their warmth coming out of the centre. It’s a perfect EP, available in November, for curious people, nostalgic of a drink on a seaside terrace.
