Today being such a particular day, we’re between softness and fighting. The three albums we got close to our ears got this perfect balance, between tribute and peace. Flashes.
NICALOCHAN – CHANTEL VAN T
The softness in Chantel Van T’s voice has not a lot of equivalent in the musical and physical world. Through her new album, Nicalochan, Chantel Van T is delicate and enchanting, no pressure. Maybe she’s a little melancholic too. The first notes of Come To Me show this before the feeling gets transported by song Nicalochan’s growing optimism, Petrichor’s sensuality and Coming Home’s quietness. Reassuring and natural, this album smells the morning dew, autumn leaves or even driftwood. To listen urgently.

TALES & WANDERINGS – THE RED FOLKS
With their new album, Tales & Wanderings, The Red Folks are making us dive into the kind of world made of Celtic legends, balanced by their reinterpretation. Marks of Norse (Iceland) or Celtic (The Cursed King) traditions that we find along the way are blending perfectly with the modern and happy (Love for Happy Hour) or angsty (Nameless) touches. We get a little crush on the light and fresh An Irish Airman. With their violins, guitars and voices the band proposes a peaceful and soft harmony that we love.

POWER UP – AC/DC
The old men creators of many legendary riffs and beats, close to the heart of Hardrock fans, are back – although they’ve actually never left – despite everything, with an age average of 69 and a 17th album, a perfect tribute to Malcolm, named Power Up. And, of course, they are powerful. Witch’s Spell, Demon Fire, Through the Mists of Time, here are some tracks with a shamanic strength that we are enjoying as much as the potential of puns we could find around the electricity filling up this opus. What else? AC/DC should never be written in low caps.
