With some many amazing tracks released each week, it was time for us to bring the weekly playlist back to life. Made for a nice energetic walk, beware, this playlist has some really heavy stuff.
And it starts on a really high note, as we’re getting Delilah Bon, recently seen live, to open it up with her powerful rock rap on the incredibly strong and feminist track WITCH, featuring the incredible ALT BLK ERA. A supreme tribute to women killed during the witch hunts, and it is our unmissable track this week.
The atmosphere is still pretty dark as we go to The Catacombs, following Ludlow Creek, in a classic roots rock and Americana vibe. All Out by AZRA brings a nice touch of SoCal pop-punk with the singer as an untamable superhero.
F Zero, by a lost decade, Lucinda by Kilo Bravo, and Faces by The Vaniers also are some pretty cool new rock tracks, and their catchy guitar riffs are all the proof we need. Livia, by EĐĐIE, might be a not-so-new track, but it still fits nicely here as we re-discover it, months after its first release: with catchy tunes and his vocals, he is quick to convince.
Two fantastic feminine voices are bringing the next couple of tracks, with the excellent Lemonade by Black Honey, and the fascinating Break Me Down by Jocelyn & Chris. These two are as grand as the great finale of our playlist: Green Day’s latest, The American Dream is Killing Me, a great first single for their upcoming album.
