It’s Friday! We’re back this week with our playlist of the week. And because these tracks talk to us on different levels, it really would have been a shame to miss them.
It’s Forgotten Tides that opens it today with Dark Thoughts. Don’t let your mind eat itself. And let’s keep that idea alive with the quirky fun Do You Really Wanna Know? by Nïckë Bäckmán, and by Subterranean Street Society and their wonderful solution: Focus On The Melody. And we do focus here.
California Kids comes to talk about This Feeling, with captivating bass and vocals. Right in the middle of the playlist, we find CUSP with She Said (Be Leaving) and their catchy and tender rock-folk. The atmosphere then shifts to something almost ominous with Lost in the Steam by Bonbon Noir, a glimpse into their intriguing narrative project.
We’re keeping it in the heavy rock family as we meet the Fitzkee Brothers with Give You All My Love. Clearly made for the stage, it’s then time for The Lookout Service to spark the fire with Rough Around The Edges. The flame becomes almost mystical with Destiny Holes by HeartBlanch. Finally, and closing this week, it’s Spiral Frank and their epic No Man’s Sky.
