Sira Garcias releases a debut EP of brilliant, inspiring and romantic pop-folk: Your Choice. And the review is ready for you.
YOUR CHOICE – SIRA GARCIAS
The vulnerability with which Sira Garcias is showing here is impressive. It’s soberly accompanied that she gets her lyrics out, emotions building up in her voice. Your Choice is tender, loving and warm. Piano, violins, guitars and tambourine, everything forms a delicate layer for Sira Garcias’s aerial main and backing vocals.
This ballad then fades out gently and Corruption the Awakening comes in with its epic tones. Its first notes come from a Latin guitar, warm and precise, that immediately caught my attention. Garcias’ vocals then grow slowly and show a wonderful power in the chorus. Forever, like for Your Choice, starts off with a round and sensible piano. Again, it’s full of deep emotions, trembling, that the vocals come in. Between grief and love, the dark atmosphere clears mid-track.
To close her debut record, the artist has chosen a live version of Destine. This is a journey out of time and space, and this version has something bigger, and mystical to it. Its base keeps the gentle pop-folk the EP built so far, yet it is probably the most experimental song of the four presented. Your Choice is a very encouraging debut that can only bring good fortune to Sira Gracias.
