We can only follow Des Rocs happily into his Dream Machine (The Lucid Edition), an incredible opus, now in a new version! Review.
DREAM MACHINE (THE LUCID EDITION) – DES ROCS
From the elegant desert rock of White Gold to the cinematic stoner vibes on Nowhere Kid, and the saturated blues of Bad Blood or Natural Born Thriller, Des Rocs draws from classic influences, infuses them with his own story, and produces tracks that are ever more gripping and epic. Never Ending Moment is similarly hypnotic and explosive—another unmissable track on the album. Equally captivating is In The Night, enhanced by strings that highlight the deep emotion carried by his impressive voice. It’s hard not to be moved when he offers such an intimate and profound dreamscape. The original edition of the album wrapped up with Up To You, a lovely ballad that brings a sense of calm.
But Des Rocs is not done yet, and he continues with Love and a Smoking Gun, a track that’s nostalgic, romantic, and tragic. What a banger! It’s followed by the equally fresh Trauma Loop with its menacing vibe, and then the more classic The Way It Has To Be. He also offers a collaboration version of In The Night featuring Underoath. Then shares a live version, once again showcasing how heartbreaking this track is. The album closes with Hold On, also performed live. The stage is where he truly belongs. With Dream Machine (The Lucid Edition), Des Rocs strikes hard again. Here, he confirms his place as a must-see figure in today’s rock scene.
