From the starting sparks to the grand finale, No Money Kids captivates with their new album Fireworks! Review.
FIREWORKS – NO MONEY KIDS
After this frenetic chase and a deal with the devil, it’s time to move on – heavy steps by day, relief by night. Enter the anthemic Broken Bones. The lightness of Still The Same brings a breath of fresh air, allowing you to appreciate the explosion of energy in Old City Blues even more. The bangers keep coming, and here’s another one with a mysterious atmosphere: Rosie. Then, surprise, the band veers a little away from blues (but just a little) with the very catchy Velvet Moon. They’ve mastered genre-blending! To confirm this, they send out the upbeat and modern Get Free right after.
Each track carries a great deal of energy, and it becomes hard to deny the obvious. Fireworks is the shortest description No Money Kids could give for this banger album! While Easy to Fall Down is a bit more classic, the grand finale bursts forth with the raw textures of Fireworks… before a little bonus, all restraint, in the delicate For the Angel. Made for the road, for the warmth of summer and its freedom, made to bring energy back into our hearts, this new album from No Money Kids might just be their best yet.
