We’re giving the ten songs of Felicity, Hologramme’s new album, a listen. Flash.
In almost forty minutes, Hologramme is writing a tendre story containing a few plot twists. Between jazz and electro, pop and ambient, Hologramme comes and goes, blurring music genres’ borders with modesty. What we’re hearing is the equivalent of a futuristic Sci-Fi film with a visible grain, like an 8mm film. We get a transcendent result, as proven by Sixteen, Döner Kebab (with its curious title), or Nocturne, only one with a text. The rest is image and sound nourishing a beautiful imagination.
