I have a confession to make: I don’t like labels. Like everyone else, I am 100% guilty of using categories, labels and other words to describe or talk about something, especially when it concerns music. Milky Chance gives me the opportunity to not do that. It’s simple: I can’t do it with them. I can’t find something precise enough to put a label on their rhythms and words. So I just make some diversion and with all their music, inspired and inspiring, I find every genre. Convinced by the voice as much as the spirit of Fado, Oh Mama, Daydreaming or Fallen, I forget about labels. And that’s for the best.
