This our new formula. Rather than one flash, get three, slightly shorter. For this New music Friday, we’re reviewing three atmospheres and three styles very differents but that we like equally.
PARIS – BEYROUTH – CYRIL MOKAIESH
This album is one of those that make us travel automatically just with their title. Is there a trap and are we going to stay in place? No, thankfully. Cyril Mokaiesh has a lot to say through rich and eclectic rhythms, and lots of travels to propose us besides the one promised by the title (Pardon Paris, Beyrouth). We go through philosophy, hope and his origins as there’s everything here. Le Grand Changement is probably the most complete song of this beautiful album. Don’t miss it.

00959525 – FOO FIGHTERS
In the rock with big boots family, I’d like the one who’s here since the dawn of days. Dave Grohl and his friends from Foo Fighters are back with a surprise EP for the New Year. If objectively, the sound is far from perfect, that they’ve done better and that there’s nothing really new here, it is a must-have for fans and those who are patiently waiting for their next LP. We’re watching the band as we listen to How I Miss You.
