For these three fashes, we get back in time just a little rather than jumping into the future. Released recently, these almost passed under our noses, yet they’re really worth our attention.
DANCING WITH MOONSHINE – DIVA FAUNE
Released in 2019, this new album by Diva Faune is concentrated of lunar pop. Perfect for a moment just before heading out for a party, a gig and whatnot, Dancing With Moonshine invites the night to fall and to unveil its true colours. Besides an ink-black sky, it is a true rainbow that forms. We just need to listen to Get Up or to the inspired and elevated Would You Stand by me. To discover now.
SICK SAD GIRL – CLOUD
If there’s something humans have in common more and more recently or at least some days, it’s feeling bad, the feeling of not doing much. But not doing much is still doing something. And what’s CLOUD is doing to us is elevate her raw feelings and transform them into something fairy-like, even when she’s translating her sensations in Sinking or Crawl. Her EP Sick Sad Girl is available since the end of January.
SIT EL KON (THE GRANDMOTHER OF THE UNIVERSE) – JAMILA & THE OTHER HEROES
After very positive and very negative feelings, we need balance and a way of living these feelings without getting overwhelmed. And Sit El Kon, Jamila & The Other Heroes’ new album has that ability. Eclectic music with powerful live emotion, it makes us grow. Every track got all the band’s influences, from Arabic colours to rock bits, telling a superb endless story. Magic, this album had been released on 31st January.
