Here’s the thought of the day: it’s way too hot. Thankfully, we can easily get some freshness through three albums just released. Flashes.
MADE OF RAIN – PSYCHEDELIC FURS
With Made of Rain, British band Psychedelic Furs signs its great return in the industry. This is their first studio album in almost thirty years. Full of their own New Wave influence, of course, the album takes quite a dark shade. We imagine easily each notes coming from the clouds and breath into their fresh hymns with no moderation. Don’t Believe, the first single had caught our attention thanks to its simplicity and elegance. Yet, the album is still full of earth, nature, shadows and fog. An excellent return.

SAY YES, SAY NO – AIME SIMONE
Berlin-based artist Aime Simone has no limits. Exploration is his musical genre. Mixing pop, trap, post-punk and more, he becomes his own rhythm and seems to change his music into his moves. Nothing is still. As he gets serpentine, explosive and wandering only with this album Say Yes, Say No, Aime Simone is getting ahead of everyone. All the codes might be here but they have been changed, torn and moved in surprising places, and even in the lyrics where the singer gets personal and seems to heal slowly of his traumas. Everything is very clean. A curiosity to listen to.
