CROSSROADS FESTIVAL 5 – AND THEY SAID LET IT BE NUMERIC !

What? What do I see? What do I hear? A festival from afar to which I still can go from my closed island? Yes. It is time for Crossroads Festival to open its fifth edition despite the storm, and with an excellent playlist and a great concept. Announcement.

We know it all, this summer has been hard on festivals as many of them, if not all of them, have been cancelled. And yet, some have found a way to resist steadily to the devil and invasive virus that is COVID-19. And it’s what Crossroads Festival, proposing the Crossroads Sessions, has done, marking a nice all numeric comeback.

Broadcasted from Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th September online on our Facebook page, Crossroads’ site and their social media, this fifth edition is the perfect occasion to discover new European artists, many of them coming from the Hauts de France region. With up to 7 sessions each evening, from 9 pm to 11 pm, the festival hits it strong. We can guarantee that many (including us) will want more.

Created to highlight music by newcomers, this year, the festival got 28 of them willing to roll with it and record their live session without their usual audience. For the music genres, everyone should find what they love, from rap with Gulien, electro with Bobine de Cuivre, folk with Te Beiyo, blues with MASSTØ, garage rock with Johnnie Carwash and indie punk with Ravage. We just can’t wait!
