With these three albums, we are positive, space and time have been distorted for the best of culture and music. Three unique universes we connect to are reviewed here. Flashes.
LA RUMEUR D’OR – LES FANFLURES BRASS BAND
We believe that a spatial window open on New Orleans is located around the city of Toulouse and that only one group of curious and audacious individuals can have access to it. The Fanflures Brass Band just released their new album, La Rumeur d’Or, and certainly have used this window to come and go as they pleased between these two worlds. With their liveliness, this new album has charmed us straight away. With their cover of Adele’s Someone Like You, and their super powerful Dans Ta Face 2, we know they’re not going away from us any time soon.

DREAM NAILS – DREAM NAILS
We’ve heard of them while casually browsing on the internet and the Dream Nails got us with their eponymous album. Hard to resist to these DIY witches and their howling guitars and viral energy. The punk scene in London is far from dead and its future is between female and non-binary. With Vagina Police 2.0 and DIY, we’re this close to create a mosh-pit in our building’s courtyard. Feminists, the Dream nails are, logically, also engaged with ecology and are smartly warning us of harder times through This Is the Summer. Superb.

EP – FIELD TRIP TO THE MOON
The title is sober, the name is a smile and the music is everything we like. Field Trip To The Moon has just released a new EP named… EP. And what a treat it is to listen to it! If the band is based in London, their rock is open on surprising desert roads and sunsets. 62 Bullets is a hit that opens our heart and spirit. We are over the moon. And soon we believe that Patti Smith, Neil Young and Tom Waits have found an echo in Angela Christofilou’s voice. And we simply love it.
