Whether it’s on a beach in Malaysia, a wood cabin in Canada, or in a small French flat, INDOLORE’s new EP, named Paris, will be able to summon any kind of peaceful scenery. Review.
PARIS – INDOLORE

A clear guitar opens this EP of four tracks with Now is the Time, before INDOLORE’s sweet and soft vocals join in. Here, time is stretching and wears a sober and romantic air. This track encapsulates the tenderness and safety of a beautiful morning. It’s this instant just before crossing a line. How Much Longer bears the same essence, a touch of optimism, and vivid and wild energy are added to the mix.
There is a need to learn to love again. Even with the dash of melancholy that shines in If You Don’t Mind, there is hope and a wish for love, a wish to build something soft with someone. INDOLORE finishes this EP in French with Nos Belles Années. Each line is a Polaroid showing the memories of a changed relationship, a past love. All of these stories find an echo in the others.
It’s a whole that becomes the ideal soundtrack for a Sunday morning, or any other morning that sees a melancholic and hopeful love bloom. But for me, it specifically has the colours of an autumnal Sunday morning. Recorded with a band this time, this EP is very personal and displays a brilliant feeling of intimacy, similar to its author. Wherever I am, INDOLORE will deeply touch my heart with Paris.
