For their eighth album, The National are giving us all their simplicity. I Am Easy To Find is also easy to listen to. Flash.

Tender, we jump of surprise at the first notes of You Had Your Soul With You before letting go completely and follow them on songs like Oblivious, I Am Easy To Find, Where Is Her Head or Hairpin Turns. Without ever getting motionless, the softness of The National is shaped by adding vocalists like Lisa Hannigan, Sharon Van Etten or Kate Stables. But it is Alicia Vikander’s face that gets all our attention from the cover to the short film, I Am Easy To Find, by Mike Mills, in which she plays beautifully accompanied by parts of this new album. Nothing could actually describe this album better than Mills’ work.
