In January, Cage The Elephant announced it. In April Social Cues was released. In August we get our hands on it. Flash.

We almost forgot about this one! But as we say it’s better late than never to talk about a gem like this one. Pretty calm in itself, the last release of the American band is meeting our expectations with titles like Black Madonna, Social Cues, Night Running (featuring Beck) and The War Is Over. Different styles, steady rhythms, we’re transported by their experiments and their chorus made for sing-alongs. We get from the dancing pop Ready To Let Go to an agitated rock with House of Glass to Love’s The Only Way, a folk ballade with a classical intro quite lyric. The band is evolving and we’re happy to have caught up on it before it was too late.
