As times are changing and movement seems to form itself before getting us right in the face, we just take some time to enjoy three very, very different atmospheres. Flashes.
FUTURE NOSTALGIA – DUA LIPA
Released at the end of March, Dua Lipa’s new album, Future Nostalgia, is made for the dancefloor. No doubt permitted when we get the echoes from the 80s that punctuate our listening. Don’t Start Now, Physical (clearly our favourite) or Love Again and Good in Bed, each track has this nostalgic aura. And yet, there’s an obvious touch of modernity that is more or less inevitable with nowadays productions. The body is more focused than the mind as the album is fully inviting us to move around. Without being a revolution of the genre, it is clearly enjoyable.

WHATEVER WORKS – ANDI FINS
Singer from Berlin Andi Fins has released his new album just at the start of this month. Whatever Works is a soft and catchy succession of calm, nostalgic, hopeful and quiet moments. With a voice to which we get addicted straight away, and reminding us of Damon Albarn’s voice, Andi Fins shows a true maturity, an elevation, and stays humble and tender. We weren’t expecting so much generosity. The greatest justness Fins shows it to propose all this with sobriety. Definitely, to listen to without further waiting, Fins’ universe is one to be kept close to the heart.

PONDECEN – LE GROUPE OBSCUR
We’re entering a new land. Created by Le Groupe Obscur, this place is unique. The official language, the obscurian, they invented it and sing it on this new EP, Pondecen. Nature is everywhere and soon we seem to understand the lyrics without really being able to translate them. Music is the translation. Their world’s mythology is unveiling shyly. In a harmonious whole, we move only following the obscurian songs through vaporous clouds in a mystical and dreamlike forest the band creates as the notes add themselves to one another. Mysterious EP that makes us want more, Pondecen really places the Groupe Obscur on the map.
