A premiere and two catch-ups, that’s our beautiful programme of the day. Rock DIY, French pop and some pop-punk, you will find something soothing. Flash.
SOMETHING I CAN’T SHAKE OFF – NATIONAL BARKS
National Barks’ third EP, Something I Can’t Shake Off has been delayed by the pandemic, like many. And now, here they are. It’s with a piece of rock music full of intriguing and angsty shapes that the trio settles. Ideal to start the month of October, Creep puts us in the atmosphere right away, with a slightly broken voice and an almost nonchalant attitude. We get the same thing with a touch of psychedelic for Beverly Chills, the track to discover as a premiere here on the blog, freshly posted. The full EP will be available to listen to on every platform from tomorrow.

CORPS MÉTÉORE – CORPS MÉTÉORE
With his first eponymous EP just released in September, Corps Météore takes us through a world strong in contrast. Both happy and unhappy, the artist unveils catchy and dancy tunes with a powerful cathartic ability. It’s his voice, of course, that gets us on board from the very beginning, with the beautiful Danser. His French variety gets something disco-funk really works on us and grows with every time, even with the sadness and melancholy that comes from the lyrics. A real treat.

NO FOMO – ELM TREE CIRCLE
No Fomo is German band Elm Tree Circle’s new album. Through this title, we get that this fear of missing out (FOMO) is the gift of our generation. And what better weapon to fight it than music? Every line of I Got It reveals this anguish, solidify the feelings of the bad days and bad news. But there’s Flow too, and it pushes us to go forward. Overall, the guitars are keeping us afloat in this emo pop-punk genre. Enjoyable and promising.
