A debut album from the rock side of Normandy, a trip to unknown lands probably made of pixel and a free and needed consultation with a new doctor, that’s our proposition for today. Flashes.
ANIMAL TRISTE – ANIMAL TRISTE
It’s Animal Triste debut album, and with it they make us (partly at least) smile. Animal Triste, because the album is eponymous, is filled with great melancholy and deep riffs from sharp guitars that are making it stronger, bolder. We walk in the nightfall landscape lighten up by the moon, following the audible tracks the band is leaving behind from Darkette to Out of Luck. In between, their tunes shake us (Shake Shake Shake) or make us fly (Sky Is Something New). A superb new rock album.

KINSHIP STORIES – ALEX STOLZE
From the very first instants of German Desert, the beautiful introduction to Alex Stolze’s new album Kinship Stories, we get transported into an ideal video game soundtrack. Between a modernity that keeps us awake (Orphan), classical and lyrical softness from the cords (Negev), shifting to epicness or storytelling (Babylon, with Ben Osborn and Anne Müller), this album has found a real balance. The highly talented composer has convinced us and this record will follow us through our meditations and other peaceful moments.

LÀ POUR VOUS SOIGNER – DR.PÂÂLE
This EP, Là pour vous soigner, is small only by its length. The passion coming from Dr.PÂÂLE is pulsing in every corner of the room when we discover his tracks, each of them devastating and energetic. The One-Man Band is how he chose to see his project grow, and it’s amazing. Rock and Blues, tickling Pop sometimes without ever falling in the heard-before, Dr.PÂÂLE is healing us, has he promised, of our mental and physical aches with his words. But he never tries to heal our passions, he wouldn’t dare, making them stronger with every deep note and profound rhythms he plays.
