Am I going to list everything I have to do here? Not gonna lie, I was tempted for a hot second. But instead, let’s get some music playlist, right? After some weeks spent looking for bangers, here’s a playlist of pretty tunes that, honestly, can help accomplish miracles (in my case it’s going through all the books I keep buying… well, that’s one thing).
It starts with Salvation, a sweet tune beautiful lead with amazing vocals by Earthlung. It’s rare that we fall for soft ones, but here, we fell hard and it is way too good not to be shared. Then, it’s going crescendo with the diabolical Together by ALIAS, the vintage-flavoured punk-rock by My Perfect Alien and The Pinpricks.
Hallam London is back here with a bass line coming from hell, and our stay in the depth of Earth is getting longer with Kampala and Mannequin Death Squad. Let me add a dash of pop cuteness with Anya Van Rose‘s Lucky Stars, and a touch of urgency with the incredible track Shak Kon by Mehran Aminian.
What’s not to be missed? Well, this month I fetched a track that fits in perfectly in this playlist’s mood: Barbie & Ken by Scene Queen and Set It Off. And then, as a bonus, a tune from 2006 – a year to musically go back to, that’s my tip. Or is it teasing?
Anyway… up for Barbenheimer?
