And here we are. After a long and emotionally challenging year, here is a playlist of the week to get the good vibes coming out, dance a bit, and hope the best is coming in 2024.
You’ll See Blue by DEEP IN MOON is a catch with its warm and round keyboard, its subtle guitar following in, and its simply too-cool vocals. The guitars stay groovy with Going to Ground by The Marsupials, an essential of the dancefloor. And for it to become darker, Desmerelda proposes Psycholights as the new lighting rig.
Have you ever seen a dancing cowboy? Well, Dirty Colours doesn’t show you one but many with Dancing Cowboys. So, now you have. For circle round a sphere, coming next, it will be all about singing along to the chorus of their track lrlr. Of course, it’s a yes from me. A touch more electro in its intro, but made of deep riffs too, it’s LAKE ACACIA that jumps in with Delusional. Incredible.
Would you have a couple of pop-ish bops now? The dancefloor opens again with Black Levi’s by The Sunrise Paradise, next to the metal-inspired Bring it Back by The Prime. A moment of kindness slides in with the mermaids of Still Corners, inviting us into their Secret World. Then, it’s MOSKI’s turn and they propose Addiction, technical and blissful.
And… it’s the end. So I needed something epic, something rock, pop, and too big for 2023. It will be to the very fitting Dancing on Broken Bones by Rooftop Sailors to end this playlist of the week and 2023. Let’s meet again next Friday!
