This Friday, I focus on some new tracks and bands you really should put in your playlists. The playlist of the week is, therefore, open now!

For a great start, the soft and courageous atmosphere of Don’t Let It Break Your Heart is a caress coming from Coming Up Roses. There’s something round in the composition and bright in the guitars – I love it. A sensibly efficient bass, it’s the one Darius Christian plays, along with some heavenly high notes, on the incredible Volcano. A song that will awaken any sleepy volcanos and an artist that has a lot to offer. Express Office Portico, and their new single No One, an extract from their upcoming EP, completes the starting trio wonderfully, with a dancing bass and unforgettable vocals.

Contrast is in, pretty fast too, with the mysterious Walker by Sky_A – his screaming guitars are building a troubling phantomatic structure. With no transition, Brittney Spencer brings the promise of a fun evening without going out, through the pop-rock of Night In. For Glass Town, it’s the occasion to wander in the heart of the night with Curiosity – whimsical, the vocals’ duet is astonishing. Why Can’t I Call You that follows is keeping the same vibe – with a memorable melody, Slightest Clue earns some points.

Want to get some pop-punk to relive teenage memories? deegie has got everything you need with Third Time’s a Charm (Tom) and the spacetime journey is instantaneous. Samuél, on his guitar, proposes a brave fight against anxiety and translates it with heartfelt tunes in the gripping Anxiety, coming from his EP Cerulean. For Linn Koch-Emmery, it’s another kind of fight, and she prepares by wearing a flexible vulnerability on Ebay Armour. Let’s close the playlist of the week with two classic-looking rock tracks: My Soul by Camilo EG – with backing vocals that are hyper-addictive – and the dark sun of Wakes, Marionette by We The Sun– also addictive and clearly made to hit the stage.
