Released at the end of last week, Fever Dream is the third album of Islandic pop band, Of Monsters and Men. Flash.
It is a universe I have some trouble getting into… Yet, I find sweetness, poesy and that little something more that is going to stay in minds this summer. Refreshing without being out of this world, this new album has a sober aesthetic, away from any unnecessary add-ons, that, with a few riffs, doesn’t seem too smooth. That’s what we get from Alligator and Wars. Some calmer songs are the actual heart of this opus and give to a kind of melancholy to our summer… I have no idea whether I like this or not.
