Three rock atmospheres going in a very different direction, this is what we are offering today through these three flashes as usual.
JUST ENOUGH PLEASURE TO REMEMBER – THE WASH
If we take a bit of everything in today’s pop-rock universe, we could think the result would be a weird mix with no shape or taste. However, The Wash gets to avoid every trap on the way as it gets some gimmicks from this musical genre. Just Enough Please To Remember is exactly what its title says it is: we got just enough to remember them and not too much so we don’t get overwhelmed in the same atmosphere. Every track offers something new every time we listen to it, and that’s beautiful, light and delicate.

WE COO – MAMAKILLA
We Coo is MamaKilla’s debut album and, to us, a surprising rock discovery. As the guitar riffs edgy and powerful, they seem to never calm down whereas the voice because an additional guitar, adding some gravels to the concrete. Powerful without being vulgar tracks like Go and Tidy Up Your Room or You and Another also show the band’s ability to get further in their horizon as they insist on the bass and riffs. A very good debut.

TEXAS SUN – KHRUANGBIN & LEON BRIDGES
This EP is probably one of our favourite release of the week. With Texas Sun, Khruangbin & Leon Bridges are taking us through the desert, on dusty and sandy roads underneath the sun. And even if the heavy heat in a desert could scare us, they show us that the landscape is larger and more diverse than this. So we follow them during these lovely twenty minutes, as they get sensible and light, and we can’t stop but moving with them.
