Is it me, or is December flying by already? If you feel it too, don’t panic, as I’ve got with me the playlist of the week that will help you take a much-needed break. The explosive kind of break, though.
Jude’s Ketchup has decided on a tender blues intro for SDHC. Yet, the track progresses and its powerful riffs appear to highlight her bright vocals. Comes in next Hungover with the really cool pop-punk Shake It Off – and no, it’s not a cover. The atmosphere shifts, and it’s time for a duel between the war-ready blues of Saturn by ARCKIST and the ominous and electric Angels & Devils by Turncoat Syndicate.
No Filter by Tristan Tritt is not here to calm anyone down with his strong lines and his charming vocals. When You Wake Up by Slightest Clue is the soft bop of the playlist this week, with a marked identity the all way through. They are packing a punch with Do You Feel Good? It’s Crypto and BB Cooper joined forces for this banger.
Probably one of my favourite this year, IOTA is showing more of them on the dark Medecine. A track that will find an echo within anyone who’s lived through a burn-out. All Your Lines by The Sheer Currents come next to smash some riffs before the mystical Spanish band Shaman Shaman goes up to explore the skies with Space Invaders, an extract from their debut LP Analog Waste. The playlist of the week closes with the tenderness of Caroline Romano and the heartbroken Tell Her I Said Hi.
