PLAYLIST OF THE WEEK 2024 #49

There are not many playlists left before the end of the year! So, here’s the 49th playlist of the week!

We’re kicking things off with the incredible Ado, who gets on a new world tour in 2025, just a year after the first one, with Episode X. And it’s a slick electro-pop banger written by Ayase, packed with some powerful riffs. Then, the mood shifts with Nina Attal delivering a heavier rock sound on I Dance Through The Night. We keep the momentum going with the fantastic No Money Kids, blending pop and garage vibes on Get Free. They’re followed by Helen Ganya with Share Your Care, a stunning tribute to the women in her family, masterfully weaving different styles and textures.

Next up is Ember Mile, showing off the softer side of Krooked Tongue. The band keeps things lively with some strong, sharp moments but a gentler tone overall—another win for them! Then we dive into raw, intense territory with The Horrors and their blistering Trial By Fire, a track from their upcoming album. Laurenicole comes up next with Nobody but You, a soothing, old-school romantic rock number. Cherry i naturally follows with Alaska, darker yet utterly captivating.

Discovering new gems, we have Zeny Bux with If I Fade. Though more classic, this single doesn’t shy away from delivering an efficient, catchy sound—it’s very promising! A melancholic turn comes with Homme Bleu and I Ride, from his upcoming album. This gripping track is followed by the joyous Hushtones and Paper Flowers, featuring gorgeous vocals and vibrant, sunny energy.
