PLAYLIST OF THE WEEK 2025 #10

Already the tenth playlist of the week this year! And once again, we’re filling up with bangers and unmissable tracks!

It’s Nova Twins who kick off this week’s playlist with their new single Soprano. With its power infused with a variety of influences, the duo announces an album coming this summer and a tour! This avalanche of good news is followed by more massive bangers! We discover Twat Union with their catchy and fiery Singer Of The Band. The surprise in their sharp and justified feminist punk? An ultra-well-integrated saxophone solo! Belle Blue follows with similar energy, powerful riffs, and synths that add depth to the whole thing with woof. Real Sickies don’t want to slow down either, charging ahead with riffs that sound like our eldest’s garage rock in the vibrant Should Have Seen It Coming!

While the beginning of the playlist offers already very catchy tracks, let’s move on to the section of undisputed anthems. Their rock is smoother, but it hits hard! First, with I Want Your Love by The Black Moods, with a beautiful depth in the bass. Then, the gravelly voice of Another Day makes us sing Merry Go Round from the first listen. We’re not done singing yet, as Batterfly follows with the intoxicating Medusa. False Heads prepare us for atmospheric changes with their heavy and highly satisfying modern rock track Loose.

The tone becomes more mystical next with a superb discovery: BLEACH and their debut single The More She Lives. With its ethereal vocals and vibrant energy, it’s a real favourite of mine! Oxblood Moon also summons something mystical with With You, in a stoner and hard rock style that’s unafraid to mix influences. Calmer (just barely), we discover Everstill with Red, a track that gives you chills, grounded in reality yet sounding like a dream… or a fascinating nightmare. It’s very promising! We finish the playlist of the week with Catch a Knife by Nico Dey, more pop, very fresh, with a rather mischievous vibe.
