It’s time for our traditional playlist of the week, once again packed with some incredible discoveries you won’t want to miss!

The Twin Souls are back and kick off our playlist of the week with the bold, catchy, and fiery WAR. It’s everything we expect from the band, who will soon unveil their debut album. What follows is as volcanic! The high-voltage Bad Mood by Thumper is a storm of angry riffs delivering a cathartic, gripping, and redemptive result. Anger is, then, explored as a stage of grief. Chroma welcomes us with the deeply personal, electric, and lively Riverhouse, a touching outlet for emotion. YARD plunges us into the delicious unease of the middle of the night. And just like this sentence, we slip into a contradictory mood with the vibrant Essential Tremor.

With Nothing but Real, the mood is more consistent on Doom. Once again, we find traces of rage and despair responding to each other beautifully. Break on Through the Night also lets intense emotions speak. For Camilo EG, this track is the anthem of his invisible battles. Sincere and with a beautiful build-up, it could quickly become ours too. With Drugstore Cowboy, we catch up with Krooked Tongue. The band channels the chaos of daily life, the kind we sometimes let pile up until it’s too much, into punchy riffs. Then, with Here, Larker immerses into their dark thoughts, both past and present, into a delicate, almost light tune. The contrast is striking.

Lovina Falls blends genres with Light and Low. Between electro-pop and post-punk, its surprising harpsichord brings a gentle and airy touch to our playlist this week. With The Ocean’s Parade, it’s more a blend of pop and stoner rock. The result is the excellent and very promising Lost in Translation, rich in influences, clean in production, and, above all, as sunny as it is powerful! Then Manic Wave invites us to catch our breath with Less Cynical. The band puts full stops while opening doors to new possibilities with a sound that is both soft and electric. To wrap things up and soothe our emotions, Rest by WhiteFang and Pierpaolo Capovilla felt like the obvious choice. It’s easy to get lost in it, with its spoken-word segments and hypnotic guitar.
